Since the 30 of June to the 7 of August, all the Thursdays and Sundays, arrives the 5ª edition of Cinema Lliure a la Platja, the free exhibit of independent cinema on the beach... of Sant Sebastià (Barceloneta). This year 12 films will be seen, 11 selected by the organisation, and a last one that can be choosen by the public through the web between five proposals and that it will be what will close the Festival. _Des del 30 de juny al 7 d'agost, tots els dijous i diumenges, arriba la 5ª edició de Cinema Lliure a la Platja, la mostra gratuïta de cinema independent a la platja... de Sant Sebastià (Barceloneta). Aquest any s'emetran 12 pel·lícules, 11 seleccionades per l'organització, i una última que pot triar el públic a través de la web entre cinc propostes i que serà la que tancarà la mostra.
 

All the films schedulled in Cinema Lliure a la Platja have something in common: they are tindependent films of quality, "that deserve to be seen", and that have gone through any other festival. Thus, the exhibition is not only a showcase of films, but also a platform for festivals. _Totes les pel·lícules programades en Cinema Lliure a la Platja tenen alguna cosa en comú: són cintes de cinema independent de qualitat, que mereixen ser vistes, i que han passat per algun altre festival. D'aquesta forma, la mostra no solament és un aparador cinematogràfic, sinó també una plataforma per a festivals.

This year, as a novelty, Cinema Lliure a la Platja also reaches Badalona, El Prat de Llobregat and Mataró, where the films will be broadcast on Fridays and Saturdays. Another novelty this year is the Barcelona Kids program, a session special for families on Sunday 10 July, with the animated film "the roof of the world". The aim is to invite families to enjoy cinema on the beach and initiate youngsters to the world of independent film. _Aquest any, com a novetat, Cinema Lliure a la Platja arriba també a Badalona, El Prat de Llobregat i Mataró, on les pel·lícules s'emetran divendres i dissabtes. Una altra novetat d'aquesta edició és la programació de Barcelona Kids, una sessió familiar especial, el diumenge 10 de juliol, amb la pel·lícula d'animació Al sostre del món. L'objectiu és convidar a les famílies a gaudir del cinema de qualitat a la platja i iniciar als més petits al món del cinema independent.

All sessions will begin from 21pm with music by iCAT to animate the environment. The screenings begin when the sun goes down, first with a short film selected for FILMETS (Badalona Film Festival) and El Prat Film Office. Then the film scheduled. All shows broadcast films in their original version. _Totes les sessions de Cinema Lliure 2016 començaran a partir de les 21h amb música a càrrec de iCAT per animar l'ambient. Les projeccions comencen en caure el sol, primer amb un curtmetratge seleccionat per FILMETS (Badalona Film Festival) i El Prat Film Office. A continuació, la pel·lícula programada. Totes les cintes de la mostra s'emeten en versió original subtitulada.
