AHIR vaig anar a... l'estrena de l'espectacle de Víctor Ullate 'El Sur, homenaje a Enrique Morente', al Teatre Poliorama de Barcelona.
Yesterday I went to the premier of Victor Ullate's 'El Sur, homenaje a Enrique Morente', at Teatre Poliorama of Barcelona.

 

'El Sur' tells a tragic story, unfortunately very much in vogue today. It tells the story of a woman, Estel, victim of the violence and contempt of her husband, looks for freedom and love in the arms of another man, Bernardo. Hate will tragically end the illusion of the new lovers, a feeling that will survive beyond death. _El Sur narra una història tràgica, malauradament molt en voga als nostres dies. Narra la història d’una dona, Estel, que víctima del menyspreu i la violència del seu marit es llança a buscar la llibertat i l’amor en braços d’un altre home, Bernardo. L’odi acabarà segant tràgicament la il·lusió dels nous amants, el sentiment dels quals sobreviurà més enllà de la mort.

But what stands out above the drama is the beauty of the forms that explain the scene. _Però el que més destaca, per damunt del drama, és la bellesa de les formes amb què s'explica l'escena.

Victor Ullate's Ballet will perform 'El Sur' at Teatre Poliorama of Barcelona until  November 2. _Són al Teatre Poliorama de Barcelona fins al 2 de novembre.
