AHIR vaig anar a... veure l'obra de teatre 'La Mascarada Fantàstica', de la Companyia De La Rosa, a La Seca-Espai Brossa de Barcelona.
Yesterday I went to see the role play 'La Mascarada Fantàstica', by Companyia de La Rosa, at La Seca-Espai Brossa of Barcelona.
'La Mascarada Fantàstica' is comic role play that belongs to the tradition of Commode dell'Arte (masks, very physical interpretation, impromptu parties, crazy humor and songs). Period costumes, and methods of time, but with a speech full of complicity towards any subjects of our present days. And some other surprises too that we can't reveal!_La Mascarada Fantàstica és una obra còmica que s'inscriu dins de la tradició de la Commedia dell'Arte (màscares, interpretació molt física, parts improvisades, cançons i humor esbojarrat). Vestits d'època, i mètodes d'època, però amb un discurs intemporals ple de complicitat cap als temes de la nostra actualitat present. I unes quants sorpreses més que no podem desvetllar!
This story begins in the city of Venice, perhaps in the 16th century. A rich merchant has arranged the marriage between his son, young Giorgio, and the beautiful princess Doralice. But they do not agree with this marriage of convenience and their rebellion against the established system will kick out a masquerade that will exploit a plot where nothing is what it seems. _La història arrenca a la ciutat de Venècia, potser cap al segle XVI. Un ric mercader ha concertat el matrimoni entre el seu fill, el jove Giorgio, i la bella princesa Doralice. Però els joves no estan d’acord amb aquest casament de conveniència i la seva rebel·lió contra el sistema establert donarà el tret de sortida a una mascarada que farà explotar una trama on res no és el que sembla.
The goal of Companyia de la Rosa, with a little show full of quality, is to reach all audiences, entertain and astonish and provoke laugh and reflection. And so they have done it and achieved it! _L’objectiu és, per a la Companyia, mitjançant un espectacle de qualitat, arribar a tot tipus de públic, entretenir i meravellar, provocar el riure i la reflexió. I així ho han fet i aconseguit!
