AHIR vaig anar a... la inauguració oficial de la temporada de terrasses a l'hotel Gallery de Barcelona i la seva festa dels 25 anys a Barcelona.
Yesterday we went to the official opening of the 'season of rooftops' at Gallery Hotel in Barcelona and its celebration of 25 years in Barcelona.
Nice weather and higher temperatures during days and nights, and citizens of Barcelona (and anyone who might be interested) get new possibilities to appease these high temperatures of the coming months of summer. For instance, those privileged spaces in the heights where the air can be a bit cooler, such as the rooftops of hotels. Every time there are more!!! _Amb l'arribada del bon temps i les primeres calors, tant de dia com de nit, als ciutadans de Barcelona (i a tot aquell a qui pugui interessar) se'ns obren noves possibilitats per a apaivagar les altes temperatures que ens esperen els propers mesos d'estiu. Una d'elles són alguns dels espais privilegiats a les alçades, on els aires poden ser una mica més frescos, com són les terrasses dels hotels. Cada vegada n'hi ha més!!!
Good mood, nice music and if you want, good food and drinks and spectacular views of the city... All these, apart of the freshness, are the activities offered by rooftops of hotels in Barcelona, such as Hotel Gallery in Barcelona's Eixample does. _Bon ambient, bona música i, si és vol, bon menjar i beure, vistes espectaculars de la ciutat,... Tot això, a part de la frescor, són les possibilitats que ofereixen les terrasses dels hotels de Barcelona, com és el cas de l'Hotel Gallery a l'Eixample de Barcelona.
And this year they are celebrating! They are exactly celebrating 25 of life in the very heart of the city. And so, last night they prepared a big party where one had to be in! And there was our blog!!! A big party that recreated a historic and gastronomic tour to different and emeblematic places and moments of the city recreated in different gourmet areas of the hotel. The Olympic Games of Barcelona '92, Barcelona as a tourist spot (Modernism, Boqueria Markt), some of Gallery Café classics like steak tartare and its famous Gallery Scotch & Sour, and also the opening of The Top Terrace (the sky of Barcelona). Recently the Gallery Hotel has renovated all its rooms, and most of its facilities. _I aquest any estan de festa grossa! Celebren els 25 d'existència al cor més viu de la ciutat. I per això, ahir a la nit van preparar una gran festa on, sí o sí, s'hi havia de ser. I el nostre bloc hi va ser!!! Una gran festa que recreava un passeig històric i gastronòmic per diferents llocs i moments emblemàtics de i per la ciutat recreats als diferents espais gastronòmics de l'Hotel. La celebració dels Jocs Olímpics de Barcelona '92, la Barcelona turística (el Modernisme, la Boqueria), els clàssics del Gallery, com el seu famós steak tartar i Gallery Scotch & Sour, i l'obertura de la Terrassa The Top (el cel de Barcelona). Recentment l'Hotel Gallery ha renovat totes les seves habitacions, i la major part de les seves instal·lacions.
THE TOP will be from now on (it will be open every day of the week, morning, afternoon and evening) a very nice place where to enjoy its offer of music, parties, cocktails, Mediterranean cuisine close to the Barcelona sky. _Al mes d'abril, la seva popular terrassa, THE TOP va obrir les seves portes, però serà a partir d'ara (que obrirà cada dia de la setmana, matí, tarda i nit), quan es podrà aprofitar i gaudir millor de la seva oferta de música, festes, còctels, gastronomia mediterrània i moltes coses més a prop del cel de Barcelona.
