    1. Hi Megan!
We're glad you're traveling to Barcelona.
It is always recommended in Barcelona to walk 'slowly' by the old quarters (Monumental 'Barri Gòtic' on one side of las Ramblas; multicultural 'Raval', on the other side of las Ramblas; and full of little design shops-workshops modern 'Born', on the other side of Via Laietana) and enjoying its mood and variety. Then you should also walk by l'Eixample, especially between Rambla Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia (west to east) and Plaça Catalunya and Diagonal (south to north, or viceversa) to see what is Modernism (Gaudí, ....) and also enjoy shopping. If weather is good, and especially if sun is shinning, don't miss to walk all along the beach (between Forum and 'Hotel Vela' in Barceloneta and Port Vell), or enjoy the views of the city from Montjuïc (from the sea) or from Tibidabo (where there's a beautiful amusement park) to see the city and its sea.
If you send me a message to our blog's mail: barcelonahelsinki@gmail.com; we can text you some more advices. Barcelona is always a worthwhile city!
