The inflatable sculpture "Spherical Memory" made by the  artist Quim Tarrida (Barcelona, 1967), placed in the parade ground of Montjuic' Castle, is a metallic sphere with 8 meters of diameter which disturbs this space and acts as a large mirror, as a reflection of our swollen and deformed memory. _Aquesta escultura de Quim Tarrida (Barcelona, 1967), titulada Memòria Esfèrica, és una esfera infable de pvc metalitzat, de 8 metres de diàmetre, situada al pati d'armes del Castell de Montjuïc de Barcelona que actua com un gran mirall, un reflex inflat i defomrat de la nostra memoria.

This three-dimensional mirror has been located in a highly symbolic place for the history of Catalonia. Montjuïc' Castle has been, since the 18th century, a location of repression and control over Barcelona and its citizens."Spherical Memory" invites us to reflecton the past in an apparently ludic way but deliberately critical. This sculpture is located in the same spot as until 1985 stood the equestrian statue of the dictator Francisco Franco, made by the sculptor Josep Viladomat in 1963. Every Sunday a photo booth 2.0 allows the observer to take a snapshot and keep it as a souvenir. With these actions the sculpture joins the personal memories of each visitor. The world of the mirror shows us that our reflection always decreases. As time goes on we will only last, reflected and infinitely smaller. _Aquest mirall tridimensional s'ha ubicat en un espai simbòlic de la història de Catalunya. El Castell de Montjuïc va ser, des del segle XVIII, un element de repressió i control sobre Barcelona i els seus habitants. Memòria esfèrica ens convida a reflexional sobre el passat. L'escultura ocupa el mateix lloc on estava situada, fins l'any 1985, l'escultura eqüestre del dictador Francisco Franco. Cada diumenge, de 15h a 18h un fotomaton permet a l'espectador endur-se una forografia.
