El fotògraf francès Jean-François Rauzier és un premiat narrador d'històries i un visionari de la fotografia hiper-realista de mons utòpics i reimaginats.
Highly acclaimed, multi award-winning French photographer and visual artist Jean-François Rauzier has quite a long tradition as a distinctive visual storyteller and a prolific purveyor of re-imagined photographic hyper realities and utopian worlds.

Al llarg de 40 anys ha recorregut el món explorant ciutats, civilitzacions i cultures diverses, alhora que investigava camins d'expressió de la seva particular visió de la utopia. Ell és l'inventor del concepte d'hyperphoto, una imatge elaborada virtualment a partir de centenars o milers (entre 600 i 3500) d'imatges preses amb un teleobjectiu i que després uneix amb l'ajuda de la tecnologia.
Working as a professional photographer for nearly 40 years, Rauzier travels all around the world exploring cities, civilizations and cultural heritages, while trying new techniques and mediums to illustrate his unique vision of the world. In 2002, he invented the concept of the HYPERPHOTO, an elaborate virtual image consisting of several hundreds of shots taken with a telephoto lens and then digitally stitched together with the aid of technology.

Intento mostrar cada detall d'un lloc concret, fent fotografies tant properes com sigui possible, tan amples com sigui possiblle, i des de tots els angles, diu Jean-François Rauzier.
It’s an attempt to reveal every element of a place, taking photos as closely as possible, as widely as possible, and from all angles', he explains.
